Bill Quay Farm is a small farm with plenty of animals both indoors and outdoors for all of the family to enjoy.
It is a member of the Rare Breeds Survival Trust meaning you can see rare breeds of Pigs, Sheep, Goats, Chicken, Ducks and Geese.
Bill Quay Farm is a treasured green space on the edge of Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. Here, we not only farm for food, but also to learn, preserve rare breeds and provide activities for the local community.
Since July 2013, the farm has been run by Bill Quay Community Farm Association, a registered charity, which operates the farm on a not-for-profit basis for the benefit of the wider community.
Bill Quay Community Farm is a 25 acre working farm and free visitor attraction hosting up to 8 breeding pigs, growing pigs, around 50 breeding sheep (and their lambs from March- August), around 8 breeding goats, a range of chickens, ducks, geese and small animals.
